Week 2, Thing 2

I do think of myself as a life-long learner. How interesting it would be to teach a class and have the students create their own contract for learning and, at the end, assess their progress.

Taking responsibility for my own learning is the easy part. What's hard it not getting thrown by challenges. Also, I need to upgrade my own tech tools, although they are working for me now. I am excited by the possibilities and about having the time to pursue learning about the new tools.

I also like the idea of finding ways to give back by mentoring others. That's important and I sure have appreciated that when it has come my way. So far, so cool.

First Posting

This is my first posting to my blog. I was so impressed with the Schoolibrary2.0 folks and their incredible generosity at getting the Luddites among us up into the 21st century. I am looking forward to exploring new territory here.
